Update on the Peanut...

Who happens to now be the size of an avo... Based off of estimation: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. I'll get more details at my next appointment in just over a week :). It was great to see the little munchkin moving about and even waving hello :) I think I looked at the pics all day yesterday! Heart was 146bpm and everything looked to be developing perfectly. Can't wait to feel him/her move! Some say by the 17th week you can feel movement... I hit 16 weeks today :)

My belly at 15 weeks & 16 weeks
Got this update on my phone this morning :)
Decided to get my hair done to feel a little better about not fitting into my clothes ;) haha

Welcome to Put-In-Bay!

This long needed update has been held off by a terrible head cold, that put me out for 4 days & my last min trip with my dear friend Caleigh. She was sweet enough to bring me along with her to go see her family for the Holiday weekend and what a great place she was blessed to grow up on! I'm sure it was challenging living on a small little island (3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide) but there was something wonderful about that place.I got a great tour, got to meet wonderful people, and I actually went to a pool and attempted to tan! We had a blast! Here are a few pics of our trip :)  Here is the link to visiting the island if you want to learn a little more ;) http://visitputinbay.com/pib/

Their Boardwalk!  Made me miss ours in SC
Couldn't get enough of all the amazing sunsets!
An awesome band, with a crazy lead singer who made for great entertainment!
The Candy Bar!  This had to be my favorite stop ;)  This is just a view of the fudge bar (since I know y'all love fudge ;)
A Day at the pool!  Made for great people watching... people always seem to shock the heck out me haha

These are from the fairy that we take over to Put-In-Bay and back
Having fun shopping ;)
My favorite snack: Homemade mango salsa, fresh avo and baked plantain chips!
Because of being so small, most people drive around in golf carts :)

A break between road trips...

Well, the foot is still healing, the baby is still growing (along with my body), and the boys came home for a short 3 game home stand before heading back out on the road for 8 days!

Boys had an early game on Wed in Erie which allowed them to get home early :) I made Paleo pizza, collared greens & Paleo chocolate chip cookies for dessert! It's always great to be able to cook a real dinner :)

On Thurs, the boys got a day off and we went golfing (yes, with the boot) and to Hartville to a second hand maternity store. I got my first few pairs of maternity pants: 3 pants & 1 pair of shorts for $30! It was great!

The last of the news, I got a job! I will be working at Ann Taylor Loft at our mall. I'm really excited & seems like it will be a fun job to have; especially when they are on these long road trips ;) I start next week with training so I'm sure I'll be posting about it soon!
My Paleo Chocolate chip cookies :)

Friday fireworks!!

Lindsay & I got introduced to this wonderful cupcake place!  Its 1/2 the cal, 1/2 the fat, 1/2 the sugar & all the deliciousness!! They even have GF!!

Even the boot can't keep this guy from enjoying a day off! ;)

My "Mother-to-be" day

Hope all you moms had a wonderfully blessed Mothers Day! Can't believe I just had my last Mothers Day without someone calling me mom. It was a busy day at the field but I got to go to church with my hubby so it was great! Here are some pics of the day:
My roommate Lindsay and I, and Steven and I after the game
My Special cookie from my special lil boyfriend :) Sarah and Chad's baby Landin... you just want to eat him up lol
Steven playing with the kids... there was a charity for children with disabilities
Steven and our new teammate who just happens to be a pitcher who is 7'1!

Our bump in the road...

Last night, in the 4th inning, Steven got hit by a line drive in the left foot. As he tried to shake it off and face the next batter, he felt the bone in one of his toes snap. He immediately called out the trainer and they took him out of the game. I then waited what felt like the longest few min of my life to hear what was going to happen. I then got a text from Steven saying they ordered an x-ray and to come downstairs right away. From the field we went to the ER and waited for the x-ray... The results: a broken 3rd toe and an extremely bruised foot. Thankfully no surgery is needed and with a good few weeks off, he will be able to slowly work his way back. The estimation is 2-6 weeks but we trust the Lord and HIS timing... We believe in HIS perfect plan! Thank you all for your prayers!!

Just In!!!

Eastern League Pitcher of the week!!!! I love you baby!!!! Go to akronaeros.com to check out the article :) Wooo Wooo!!

Boys on the road + 2 pregnant girls= 3 boxes of pizza!

Boys just got back last night from a short 3 day road trip. Lindsay and I, however, managed to keep ourselves busy with food, shopping and working out. Thank goodness for prenatal yoga!

On Sunday, Lindsay and I got to go to an awesome church recommended by good friends in Az. So great to have connections. The Chapel even has Sunday night services at 7 so the guys can come with us :)

Ok, I want to congratulate (& brag about) my amazing hubby for an incredible game!!! 1st pro shutout! 9 innings, 5 hits, 2 walks, 6 k's & 0 runs... Baby I couldn't be more proud of you!!!!

Ps- those are virgin margaritas for Cinco de Mayo ;)
